Clinicians can now implement classroom-based intervention with these high-interest, curriculum-based lessons. Students will focus on language comprehension, oral expression, and story grammar knowledge with Language Strategies For Children.
Unit One focuses on the listening activities students need for classroom success. Lessons on fact/opinion and giving/receiving directions are included.
Unit Two focuses on oral expression skills through activities involving categorization, comparing/contrasting, synonyms/antonyms, analogies, and multiple meaning words.
Unit Three practices the story grammar elements of main idea, cause and effect, etc.
The 256-page, spiral-bound manual contains strategies for how to implement curriculum-based intervention, presenting the lessons, and additional techniques for teaching these necessary skills. Includes a CD-ROM for printing posters and barrier games from the books.
